Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) one day

EPA requires that firms performing renovation, repair, and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in pre-1978 homes, child care facilities and schools be certified by EPA and that they use certified renovators who are trained by EPA-approved training providers to follow lead-safe work practices. Individuals can become certified renovators by taking an eight-hour training course.

OSHA 30 Hour Construction Site Safety

The OSHA 30 Hour Construction course consists of:
• 30 Lessons, 50 question Final Exam
• This two day course satisfies OSHA requirements for construction safety

Full Description:
This course gives an introduction to OSHA, the standards, general safety and health provisions, the general duty clause and requirements for competent persons. The course then continues with specific emphasis on the Electrical standard and Fall Protection. Topics that may also be covered as needed include Personal Protective Equipment, Tools-Hand and Power, Scaffolds, Cranes & Conveyors, Excavations, Stairways and Ladders. Upon successful completion of the course the student receives a 30 hour Construction Safety Training card which does not expire. Refresher training is recommended to maintain awareness of changes in OSHA regulations and basic competencies.

NYC requires that all construction superintendents attend the 30 hour Construction Safety Course. NYS now require that all site personnel attend the OSHA 30 hr for all State funded projects in excess of $250,000.00.

Asbestos Awareness and Mold Awareness/Remediation Worker

The background history & uses of Asbestos, Heath Effects, Exposures & Medical Monitoring, Regulations that govern the workplace and Personal Protection.
